Schedule 1 species of birds – Barn Owl Tyto alba

I have worked on Barn Owl projects in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and across the Midlands. I can provide the require reports/survey data and risk assessments regarding working methods necessary to safeguard protected species and ensure legal compliance required for planning applications.

Barn owls are listed under Schedule 1 of The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and are, therefore, protected from disturbance whilst building a nest or rearing young.

I have expertise of surveying rural buildings for barn owls, mitigating for redevelopment projects and erecting nest boxes as part of planning conditions.
