ECOLOGIST AND PROTECTED SPECIES CONSULTANT

I regularly undertake ecology survey work in connection with barn conversions, planning applications and other developments. I hold a Natural England licences and work in accordance with Natural England and the Bat Conservation Trust. I undertake professional bat surveys in accordance with with Collins (2016) Bat Surveys for Professional Ecologists: Good Practice Guidelines, 3rd Edition, Bat Conservation Trust, which is the standard bat survey guidance that should be referenced by all professional ecologists, and is also often referenced by developers, planners and the policy-makers responsible for reviewing and assessing the implications of professional bat surveys.
